Elementary Grades K-4

Tuesdays 9am-2pm

Earth Science & Astronomy: During the 2024-2025 school year, we will be studying Earth Scence & Astronomy. The units this class will study include the earth’s features, the living earth, the solar system, and stars and space. The three keys of the science program include performing hands-on scientific tests, gathering information from living books and encyclopedias, and keeping records. 

Emerging Readers & Reading Enrichment: Our reading specialist will work with our primary students to help develop their reading skills, fluency and comprehension. A love of reading opens many doors!

Bible: We will dive into God’s Word through the stories of the Bible with active learning experiences.

Math Games: This hands-on class will sharpen all levels of math skills with games, interactive STEM centers, puzzles, and review activities. 

Art/Music: Our art teacher will inspire an interest in visual arts and teach basic skills in drawing, painting, clay, and more! Our music teacher will offer a musical exploration hour several times during the school year.

Elective Day Thursday 9 am-12:00 pm- This half-day elective option is to complement the core day (Tuesday) or can be used as a stand-alone program. Curriculums used for the electives incorporate all subject matter into fun, interest-based learning opportunities. Choose to stay for all pathways or choose just one. There are three 12-week sessions. These will be multi-age group classes.

  • Bible/Apologetic: We will study why we believe what we believe and learn effective ways to defend our faith.

  • Mathematics: We will be using Saxon Math along with guided instruction from instructor. Each student will receive a membership with Nicole the Math Lady platform. NML in class as well as at home access to use as needed.

  • Anatomy and Physiology: This course will enable students develop an understanding of the relationships between the structures and functions of the human body. The curriculum provides a basis for students to develop a strong conceptual understanding of the following human body systems: integumentary, skeletal, muscular, nervous, cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive systems

  • Public Speaking: Is a beginner level public speaking course that trains teens on the basics of speech making, along with some basic life-skills speaking such as interviewing and elevator-pitch skills.

  • Entrepreneurship: Providing students with a foundation of business, entrepreneurship and marketing skills. There will be a Shark Tank Final Project at the end of the year.
